Keeping things simple — bright, warm, and unmistakably classic. A rich gradient dial captures the glow of melted cheese and tomato beneath polished stainless steel, while a missing slice offers a quiet nod to the cult status of the New York pizza slice. There’s no shame in keeping it traditional. No extras, no drama. Just cheese, sauce, and a reminder that less really can be more.
Picture a classic cheese pizza slice, served simply. Just cheese and sauce, nothing more. Bright, balanced, and instantly recognisable for exactly what it is. Here, that everyday icon is translated into polished steel and soft texture; a warm cheese-toned dial interrupted by a single slice physically pulled away, a quiet nod to the enduring ritual of New York’s most familiar staple

On the 1st April 2023, Studio Underd0g founder Richard Benc, and Andrew McUtchen, Time+Tide’s founder tried pulling the perfect April Fo0l’s prank, teasing a watch with a unique pizza-themed dial. It was never meant to happen, but what was supposed to be some harmless pizza-related fun, turned into something much, much bigger.
Things quickly got out of hand by the time the fake launch time arrived a few hours later, as over 20,000 Studio Underd0g fans and pizza lovers alike descended to the website to snag a slice of what was to come. Except… April Fo0ls! Oops…
With the fake design out there, uproar ensued, and threats of violence rolled in if it didn’t get made. But that wasn’t the only problem on Rich and Andrew’s hands, because while everyone loved the Pepper0ni concept watch, the people wanted to know where the hell was the ham and pineapple?!
And so, by January 2024, hands had been forced, and the Pepper0ni & Hawaiian duo were cooked up for real. But there was a twist, the only way you could get one was at the Time+Tide Studio, or have it delivered by hand, in person by Andrew or Richard. This was going to get interesting.

Throughout 2024, the delivery boys toured all over the UK and further afield, hand-delivering pizza watches at watch events across Melbourne, Geneva, Chicago, San Francisco and New York. British Watchmakers in London was particularly memorable, along with endless pizza parties all over the world, allowing everyone to grab a slice of their favourite flavour.
Extraordinary demand called for extraordinary measures, so Studio Underd0g decided to roll out a short online sales window too, which proved to be a massive success, with the Pizza watches outselling wristwatch giants Rolex for the day!

After seeing Rich traveling all the way to Sydney Australia just to hand deliver one Pizza watch to a giveaway winner, the world tour was coming to an end. By November, the remaining Pepper0ni’s and Hawaiian’s were running low. The final pizza party, and the final opportunity to get one was drawing near.
And so, marking the occasion, a huge pizza themed bash was held at the Time+Tide Studio in London, where the Pizza Unique Charity Auction took place. The auction for the final Pepper0ni watch closed at an incredible US$17,000, the proceeds of which went to Mary’s Meals, serving life-changing meals to children across the globe.

0verdone, but done right
The Burnt Pepper0ni Watch looks like it was forgotten at the back of the oven — darkened, charred, and finished with a perfectly crispy edge. Deep gradients shift through toasted orange into blackened tones, echoed by a black PVD ‘burnt’ case, paired with a matching black PVD steel bracelet and an additional black leather strap for a softer take on the same smouldering theme. Playful in concept, serious in execution, and unmistakably Studio Underd0g.
